*ETL/BI Tester Fort Lauderdale, FL 3-6 months contract* *Must Haves:* 6+ years in the area of Testing 3 years experience in working as the system tester for SSRS Report, SSAS CUBE and ETL Testing Need to have very strong T-SQL skills SSAS-Cube testing. Data warehouse testing. Data driven testing and analysis Test Case creation and execution, Metrics reporting. Dashboard and ETL testing. Experience with Quality Center and other test tools (IBM Rational Clear Quest, Manual Tester) *Plusses* Skills for MDX queries are preferred but not required *Position Summary:* The goal of the Tester is to verify that the SSAS cube under test meets project requirements by performing testing on the system after initial development has been completed (System Testing). At a high level the Tester does the following on projects: Assist test lead in planning and estimating the test efforts Responsible for creation of test documentation and assets after analyzing the project’s requirements Creates required test cases, SQL scripts, executes them and support resolution of defects Reports on test status and raises test-related risks The Tester must be capable of assisting in the resolution of complex project problems, and communicating concepts to audiences with mixed levels of technical & business abilities. The candidate must be recognized by his/her peers as an acknowledged “expert” in the area of testing.
