*Job Title: HL7 Developer* *Location: Parsippany, NJ* *Duration: 6+ Months* *MUST HAVES:* 5 + years HL7 Development (Health level 7 - framework for sharing & retrieval of electronic health information) Expert knowledge in CDA (XML based mark up standard intended to specify the encoding, structure, & semantics of clinical documents for exchange) 1-2 years experience connecting to HIE (Health Information Exchange) Strong understanding of "Meaninful use" & "stage 2" *PLUS:* Experience with Core Point (Hl7 integration engine) *DAY TO DAY:* EDIMS is a solutions firm that delivers best practice to Emergency departments specific to Electronic Health Records. One of their larger clients is requesting that they meet stage 2 requirements of "Meaningful Use" - which states: EMR must be able to transmit health info via CDA to an HIE or EMR. The requested completion date is June 2014.
