Qualifications:
Our client is seeking a software developer with JAVA/J2EE experience to join our team in supporting our client in meeting their critical business challenges. The preferred candidate will have a background in Object Oriented software development with practical experience in JAVA/J2EE and XML. Individual will be assigned to a project team to create custom applications. The person selected will be responsible for providing creating webservices to automate the management/maintenance of access to critical systems.
Primary responsibilities includes:
• Create webservices to remove accesses to critical system applications from existing systems security applications (SailPoint IdentityIQ)
• Establish webservice connectivity between COTS & Custom applications
• Develop/Implement/Support application evironments
• Develop webservices including processing of screen edits
• Integrate business logic into custom applications
• Process choreography between multiple IMS transactions to successfully complete business transactions
• Message handling/switching including formatting of incoming & outgoing messages for IMS with routing to the host LPAR
• Integration testing of webservices to host (mainframe systems)
Core Skills:
• Java/J2EE Development experience
• Results-oriented with creative problem-solving skills
• Experience in Distributed Web Application Design
• Experience working with relational databases
• Competency with web application architecture and technologies, including multi-platform/browser support
• Service Oriented Architecture experience
• Proficiency with Java programming language
• Skilled in Spring and the Spring Tool Suite
• Experience with continuous integration tools (e.g. Jenkins)
• Experience with plug-in development for Eclipse, Jenkins, and Maven
• Experience integrating other code quality tools such as code coverage and static analysis into the quality process
• Experience in Sonar
• Hands-on experience with an automated UI testing tool across a variety of web browsers
• Experience with performance testing and/or backend automated testing
• Experience with Unit tests
