What is the specific title of the position? SOA Integration J2EE Developer with Mulesoft IPaaS What Project/Projects will the candidate be working on while on assignment? Integration of State, federal and external commercial applications using Mule iPaaS for State and Federal clients Is this person a sole contributor or part of a team? If so, please describe the team? (Name of team, size of team, etc.) Team: Optum Technology Government Solutions, 20-50 What are the top 5-10 responsibilities for this position? (Please be detailed as to what the candidate is expected to do or complete on a daily basis) 1. Development leads to Ensure component planning/activities are aligned with the Integration Strategy 2. Collaborate with business and IT colleagues and lead design and development of large, complex commercial application to achieve business objectives consistent with functional and technical specifications and business requirements. 3. Lead, mentor and provide work consultation to software development teams to develop applications and interfaces using Mule ESB. 4. Provide business solutions by creating and developing new software applications. 5. Lead designing, coding, testing, and documenting software applications consistent with functional and technical specifications and business requirements that deliver business value. 6. Apply standards and best practices for designing and developing software applications. What software tools/skills are needed to perform these daily responsibilities? - Core Java programming - Angular JS, Spring MVC, Hibernate - XML/XSLT and web-based technologies - Visio and Modeling tools for documentation What skills/attributes are a must have? - Minimum 8 years of experience leading the design and implementation of Service Oriented Architecture. - Strong experience designing, delivering, and maintaining distributed systems built with SOA platforms. - Hands-on experience with cloud integration software such MuleSoft, CloudHud, IBM CastIron or Dell Boomi. - Design and develops Mule Flows based on latest Mule versions ( 3.4 and up ) - Demonstrable experience with JMS Queues and Publish/Subscribe models - Develop JUnit Test Cases for Flows/End Points - Hands-on experience in Web Services (XML, SOAP, REST and WSDL). - Strong hands on Java, J2EE programming and scripting language - Experience with deployment and configuration tools such as Jenkins. - Hands-on experience with SOA and Web Services Technologies and Standards (specifically syntactical expertise SOAP, WSDL 1.1, WSDL 2.0, XML Schemas, ESB, BPM. - Hands-on experience with Integration Patterns, Integration Tools, EAI, Transformation, XML Schemas, XSL, XSLT. - Mulesoft IPaaS implementation experience Highly preferred - Experience integrating Cloud Apps ( SFDC, Workday , Intacct ) using Mule or IPaaS products - Excellent verbal, written, and inter-personal communication skills What skills/attributes are nice to have? - Experience in Healthcare domain with HIPPA/x12 transactions. - IBM or Oracle SOA certification. - Experience in Cloud Security Protocols (AES, KMIP, TSL, SSL, VPN). - Experience with public clouds such as AWS, Google, Rackspace. - Knowledge of IAAS, PAAS and/or SAAS cloud technologies. - Hands-on experience with Canonical Models, data models, process models and object models.
