Make sure the Consultant's skills match the requirement.* *Title: Dot Net Technical Lead* *Duration: 6-12+ Months* *Location: Honolulu, HI* * * *Required Skills:* • Must have 7+ years of total IT experience in Microsoft technologies and minimum 3 years in performing the technical lead role. • Must have 5+ years of work experience on the following skills .Net 3.5/4.0, Spring MVC, Visual Studio, C#, VB.Net, WCF, WF, SQL 2008, Azure, Team foundation server(TFS)/any source control management system, HTML5, JQuery, Web services, Entity Framework, Web APIs, MS SQL, Hibernate, IIS, Sabre/any GDS system • Understanding of RESTful tiered web-architectures and presentation frameworks. • Ability to direct the teams, assign tasks, manage delivery timelines and ensure quality • Experience in handling medium/large size teams in developing dot net based solutions for e-commerce platform. • Hands-on experience in handling the development teams for a public facing websites • Experience in Agile methodology and effective utilization of tools • Understands and enforces coding standards and best practices * * *Responsibilities:* • Responsible for understanding the requirement, prepare technical design, reviewing architecture and overseeing development of dot net solutions based on functional specifications for new components • Review team’s performance continuously and take appropriate action to scale-up the team • Direct and guide the teams to identify the opportunities to automate and propose value add initiatives • Ensure delivered applications meets customer’ standards for security, correctness, platform readiness and performance • Responsible to leverage the technologies and direct/lead the team to re-factor the existing application code to have stable and robust environment with low maintenance for future developments. • Participate in technical code walkthrough discussions and suggest best practices. • Responsible for designing and implementing specific proof of concepts/components as and when required. • Review current applications technology platform/APIs and design new components that integrate with current system. • Possess complete knowledge on enterprise infrastructure and capable to continuously come up with new strategies to meet the dynamic needs of business. • Preferred Microsoft certified Architect • Assist in replacing third party components with Microsoft technologies. • Assist in replacing third party component with in house applications. • This position demands a well-organized, action-oriented team player with the ability to prioritize daily work, change directions quickly, manage geographically dispersed resources and work on multiple projects simultaneously. • Comprehensive knowledge of problem analysis, structured analysis and design and programming techniques. • Should have excellent communication skills and continuously work with client partners, come up with new strategies, come up with quick solutions • Ability to work with minimal supervision, engaging peers and other departments to accomplish assigned goals and effectively manage projects in a cross-functional environment.
