Make sure the Consultant's skills match the requirement.* *Title: Senior Telecommunications Engineer* *Work Location: Dallas, TX* *Duration:6+ months* * * *Job Description:* *Mandatory Technical / Functional Skills * • Minimum of 7 years experience in the telecommunications field • Minimum of 5 years experience with large Cisco call center environments including Cisco Routers and IOS Voice Gateways • Minimum of 2 years experience performing UCM 8.0 Cluster administration in a centralized call processing model • Minimum of 2 years experience with Unity Connection 8.0 cluster with high availability and Cisco Unified Contact Center Enterprise *• CCNA, CCVP or CCNP Voice certification ** * *Roles and responsibility * • Configure, maintain, troubleshoot and upgrade IP Telephony Systems, enterprise voice solutions, VoIP technology, Unity Messaging, TDM Voice, VoIP CPE, soft Switches, Routers, and Firewalls • Resolve technical user issues escalated from the Help Desk and serve as the escalation point for all carrier vendor issues • Determine, evaluate and diagnose network and application performance issues to recommend and implement solutions • Act as a technical and application SME within IT • Identify technical issues and risks and advocate alternative solutions • Enforce technical standards and policies • Perform other duties as assigned or necessary * * *Desirable Technical / Functional Skills * • Expertise in MGCP / H.3223 voice gateways • Strong experience in Voice and Video Protocols like H.323, SIP MGCP, ISDN, G.711, G.729 and H.264 • CCIE Voice certification • Bachelor’s degree in a related field Thanks and Regards, Arjun/InfoTech Spectrum Inc.
