*Position: EMC Safety Test Engineer*
*Location: San Jose, CA *
*Duration: Long-term Contract*
*Job Description:*
- Carry out Safety tests as per various international standards such as
IEC, EN, IS, etc.
- Has good understanding on test setups and execution of various
electrical and mechanical tests (leakage current, dielectric withstand, IP,
IR, temperature rise, humidity conditioning, power measurement, fault
conditions, etc).
- Has good understanding on Safety aspects of commercial, IT, Medical,
Industrial, Lighting, energy meters standards for product compliance
- Create and review test plans and test reports
- Trouble shoot test setup issues in various test facilities in the
safety lab
- Carry out feasibility studies for different test requirements and
standards
- Understand and follow the quality process as per ISO/IEC 17025
