*Role: Service DeliveryLocation: Mountain View, CAType: ContractDuration: Longterm Contract* *Position#1: Service Delivery / Network Provisioning TPM Focus/Skills: Dark Fiber, FTTH, MDU, OSP, Project Managenment, Vendor Management, OTDR/BERT * *Job Description*: ●Collaborate with internal business and networking technical teams to identify and define initiatives necessary to meet Google's ongoing needs with Dark Fiber implementation and delivery. ● Serve as the primary liaison between the company’s field and engineering teams and internal/external customers for a particular service installation. ● Manage the team performing audits on OSP and Dark Fiber designs. ●Follow Service Order execution: Review all Technical specifications with Vendor implementation team (Vendor kickoff & Ongoing Service delivery meetings). ●The primary objectives are providing excellent customer service and working with internal and external stakeholders to ensure on time delivery in accordance with customer and company expectations. ●Manage Vendors for the timely delivery of key elements of project implementation including network designs (by Fiber/Optical/IP Engineering), and 3rd party leases; ● Accepting and verifying fiber characterization as part of a vendor’s turn over package or completion order. ● Analyzing and verifying BER Testing results of Fiber channel, OTDR analysis, and fiber characterization. ● In depth understanding of OTDR traces (bidirectional) for long and short shots. ● Able to understand and read bidirectional splice loss table taken from bidirectional OTDR data. *Position#2: Service Delivery / Network Provisioning Coordinator L2 Focus/Skills: Carrier moves, disconnects, hotcuts, change requests, Cross connect ordering* *Job Description*: ● Prepare and submit carrier move, change and disconnect orders. ● Coordinate disconnect, hot-cuts and moves with carrier and internal Deploy and Engineering teams. ● Update internal documents and inventory systems to decommission existing circuits. ● Manage and coordinate physical disconnect of cables and cross-connects. ● Verify with acquisition and legal teams for re-use of disconnected capacity. ● Update contracts and deliverables with respective disconnect dates. *Position#3: Service Delivery / Network Provisioning TPM Focus/Skills: Long Haul Leased Wavelengths & Dark Fiber, ISP, Vendor Delivery Management* *Job Description*: Service Delivery & Network Capacity Provisioning (Focus) a) Serve as primary vendor delivery contact for the delivery of Metro & Long Haul dark fiber, Leased Wavelengths, Space, Power and Inside Plant Fiber as necessary. b) Serve as Primary Deployment contact during Implementation & Handoff for Acceptance of New 3rd Party Services as well as Activation of Leased Capacity. c) Will Initiate and Manage Procurement & Delivery of all associated Cross Connects & ISP patching. d) Ensure capacity being delivered is on schedule, according to specs, and downstream teams are prepared to accept the capacity. e) Manage exceptions and communicates issues/risks to Deployment Team.. f) Lead escalation initiatives up vendor management chains as necessary if delivery time lines are at risk; Escalate internally as needed. g) Obtain, Distribute and Maintain all Vendor Documentation.
