Job Title: Jabber-Webex Engineer Location: Mountain View, CA Duration: 3+ months contract Role and Responsibilities: Technical resource on unified communication technologies, such as Cisco Jabber and WebEx; Work and collaborate with Project Teams including Outsourced engineers, contract resources and 3rd Party Vendors. Provide consistent and frequent project status updates Ensures compliance with data security policies and procedures. Excellent communication in English and ability to present and interface with Symantec Business units from an end-user level Technical testing and troubleshooting skills in a multi-vendor environment; Driving user adoption, acceptance and training for employees. Must possess: Minimum 2 years experience as an IT professional supporting Cisco WebEx Conferencing and Messaging (Jabber) services; Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with technical and non-technical people. Skills in writing concise, understandable, technical documentation; Ability to work independently, keeping track of a number of continuing problems, requests, and projects; Ability to maintain a positive attitude and contribute both as an individual and a team member to achieve the goals of the Enterprise; Experience with cross-functional, international teams; Outstanding front-line customer service skills.
