BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Java (advanced- to expert-level development and design skills).
Linux/Unix skills (comfortable working in a shell and addressing basic
issues).
One or more Unix scripting languages: Perl, shell, ruby, python, PHP, etc.
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Web and application servers (Tomcat, Apache, etc.).
Java frameworks or technologies (Spring, Spring Security, Struts, Junit,
Mockito, etc.).
Web client languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and AJAX.
SQL with relational databases such as Oracle, Microsoft SQL server, and
MySQL.
Automation frameworks such as puppet, chef, and cfengine.
PKI with GNUPG, OpenSSL, SSH, etc.
Formats and protocols such as JSON, XML, SOAP, REST.
Virtualization platforms such as VMware.
Network infrastructure such as firewalls, load balancers, and proxies.
TCP/IP and protocols such as HTTP/HTTPS.
