Job Title: Oracle SOA Technical Architect Location: Denver, Colorado Duration: 6+ months
Job Description: 1. Staying abreast of the development methodologies and technical components in use and under development in the Java and Oracle community (examples: (SOA, Web Services, etc.). 2. Advocating and implementing best practices in development within the projects development teams Coaching and providing training and guidance to developers 3. Troubleshooting technical tasks/issues common to the Java development teams. 4. Verifying compliance with client’s Technical Reference Model. 5. Representing within client design reviews and acting as liaison to client and third party review entities with respect to architecture. 6. Ideal candidates will possess a wide variety of experience architecting enterprise and mission critical applications, including but not limited to the Oracle platform. Essential skills will also include: full application development lifecycle experience (i.e., requirements definition, design, development, QA, implementation), strong analytical and problem solving abilities, and excellent oral and written communication skills. Experience in working with SQL Server as the back end is preferred. Experience working in Agile development environment a huge plus. Required / Desired Skills Oracle SOA Architect Mandatory Skills: * Minimum 3 years of experience as architect * Experience in mapping business challenges with the Oracle SOA technology features * Very good problem solving skills * Minimum 7 years’ experience in Java/J2EE technologies. Expert level skills in Oracle WebLogic integration : * Minimum 5 year’s experience in WebLogic Server and associated technologies (WLI, ALSB) on various levels like developer, architect, performance tuning expert, installation and configuration, capacity planning etc. * Minimum 2 large scale projects experience as architect on Oracle SOA suite * Minimum 4 years of experience in XML and web services technology * Should have strong coding fundamentals of WLI, BPEL, Oracle service Bus, Oracle BAM, Oracle business rule and oracle complex event processing. * Exposure to Oracle SOA suite 11g features is a must * Should have experience in producing architecture deliverables and strategy documentation for carrying large scale Oracle SOA projects. * Deep understanding and experience on SOA governance, SOA adoption and approach using Oracle SOA governance tools * Good experience in linking SOA framework with Oracle Identity and access management tools * Preferable to have Oracle WebLogic integration to Oracle SOA suite migration experience. * Seven to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. * Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. * Demonstrated hands on ability in architecture, design and development of scalable, complex Java / JEE software applications * Demonstrated Experience on evaluating products/tools for specific requirements for integration with existing system. * Should have experience on conducting trainings/sessions for teams on Upcoming Technologies and application of the same. * Demonstrated experience in troubleshooting Issues on Applications with quick and long term solutions. * Demonstrated abilities using Profiling tools and guide teams through effective Application Performance for both * Demonstrated capabilities of designing and building tools and reusable frameworks to ensure minimal development time and modularization Skills: * Java * SOA/Enterprise Service Bus many thanks Rakesh 617-614-7059 e-mail:rak...@vencesoft.com -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "US_IT.Groups" group.
