Project Manager 05/27/2015 to 11/26/2015 Location: Bothell, WA This position is for responsible for managing project delivery for mid to large and complex Technology projects with cross functional project teams - that may be comprised of several departments, have high visibility, aggressive schedules, and require negotiation skills to balance the needs of project stakeholders. The candidate Sr PM will be working on evolution of our IT Billing and Point of Sale platforms - specifically, the Technology Operational Readiness of these new systems. This requires a candidate with background doing Project Management around: Monitoring, Alarming, Change Management, Release Management, Trouble Tickets, NOC and Tier 2 Support Alignment, etc. The candidate Sr PM needs to have 5-7 years of solid Project Management background in the IT and/or Engineering industry – specific to Wireless. They need to have background working within the majority of these areas: IT monitoring solutions, data center resiliency / continuity, able to manage projects specific to IT development and application support orgs – and a general familiarity with IT and Wireless. Effectively uses communications to ensure project health, transparency to risk and to maintain a strong project team sense of respect and trust. Communicates risks in clear business terms and technical terms and provides clear messaging and solution options at a senior leadership and executive level in both planned and ad hoc scenarios. Establishes the tools and processes to track and report on the program health and progress towards program goals. Additional Skills Required 5+ yrs formal project management work experience. Must be proficient and have experience using MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and MS Project and Visio. Solid understanding of PMI principles and practices and how to put them into practice; demonstrated ability to apply PMI principals required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; effectively communicates with all employee levels and levels of management. Project Management certification. Preferred Skills Need candidates who are extremely proactive, self-starters, great communicators, excellent documentation - those that can dive in to areas of complete unknown ... and rally the stakeholders and working level resources to confirm the scope, schedule and implementation plan. .
