*Position:* Microsoft Exchange Engineer/Administrator
*Location:* Albany, NY
*Duration:* 18 Months
*Rate:* $ DOE
This is an 18 month project with our client in New York, NY
Please note that this position will require and in person interview.
Mandatory Requirements:
1. Minimum of one (1) year experience installing, configuring, and
administering a MS Exchange 2007 Clustered Environment.
2. Minimum of (4) years experience installing, configuring and
administering a Windows Server 2003 infrastructure including Windows 2003
servers, Active Directory group policy, users and computers, sites,
replication, and integrated DNS.
3. Minimum of one (1) year experience scripting with Exchange Power
Shell and Windows Power Shell.
4. Minimum of one (1) year experience replacing a non-Exchange email
system with an Exchange 2007 environment.
Desirable Experience:
1. Experience designing and implementing a MS Exchange 2007
Environment. Additional credit will be given for larger environments.
2. Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) Certification for
Windows 2000. Additional credit will be given for a MCSE 2003
certification.
3. Implement ISA Infrastructure.
4. Experience in backing up and restoring exchange.
5. Experience in mail archiving solutions.
6. Experience with mobile messaging technology (Blackberry,
Smartphone, Treo, PDA, etc…).
7. Experience in configuring and deploying messaging clients
8. Experience with Exchange monitoring tools
9. Experience configuring, defining and/or managing Exchange Calendar
resources
10. Experience working with a Third Party message routing system
