*Basic Qualifications (Must Haves):*
• 5+ years operating complex, large-scale Enterprise guest-facing

• Deep knowledge and experience with both emergent web and enterprise
business applications:
o *Web (IIS, Apache) and Java application (Tomcat, Jboss, etc) server

o Process methodologies and paradigms including *DevOps, Agile development,

• Experience in *at least two* relevant scripting or programming

• Database Administration – setup, configuration and basic database
troubleshooting skills

The ideal candidate would be *proficient in Ruby or Python*, and have*
experience
working in a development centric environment*. An ideal candidate is also
proficient in the *operational support for Java applications*. Experience
developing Java applications is not necessary but considered valuable.
Expertise implementing and maintaining enterprise configuration management
solutions such as *Chef* are also desirable.
*Basic Qualifications (Must Haves):*
- *5 years* of experience supporting and/or deploying internet-based
products or services
- Intermediate to advanced *shell scripting* skills
- Intermediate skills in* Ruby, Perl, Python* or other programming
languages
- Experience in configuring, deploying, and supporting web server
platforms including but not limited to *Varnish, Tomcat, Apache, PHP,
Zend.*
- *Detailed knowledge of* core internet and networking protocols

*Role : Senior Tools Engineer*
*Location : Seattle, WA and Burbank, CA*
*Duration : Long Term*
*Skill requirements:*
This positions is focused *more on development and building and creating
solutions*. Looking at platform technology. Strong with Cloud, but more
application based, programming internals. We DO NOT NEED someone who just
knows scripting. We *need* someone who does have *strong*
understanding of *Java
OOP, and cloud technologies*. Developing API, protocols, applications
internals TOMCAT servlet containers. This role will help more in developing
core technology platforms for the operations teams to use.
*Responsibilities:*
*Primary responsibilities* include *evaluation, design, implementation and
support* for components or solutions developed internally, developed by the
open source community, or developed by third parties which are designed to
service Internet based applications or environments. This includes *custom
software implementation*, *data model design*, *network and systems design*
, *performance and process improvement, systems automation and
documentation*.
This position is also responsible for planning and executing
small-to-medium scale projects within the Platform Engineering team.
Typical projects would include new business unit initiatives and updates to
existing products and services that require planning, incredible attention
to detail, and flawless execution.
The ideal candidate would be *proficient in Ruby or Python*, and is also
proficient in the *operational support for Java applications*. An ideal
candidate also has a *strong working knowledge of cloud and IT
infrastructure*. Experience writing code to *automate infrastructure tasks* is
not necessary but *considered valuable*. Expertise implementing and
