*Title:* UX Designer *Location:* Chesterbrook, PA *Duration:* 3+ months *Phone/Skype* UX Person to perform - *Wire frames , application work flows, comps*, image designer – not as important, htmls (to be done by WD) , responsive design with 2-3 templates *Summary:* Under general direction of the Manager, eCommerce & Portals, the incumbent will provide analysis, user experience design and prototyping expertise in pursuit of a solution that runs on both desktop and tablet. The incumbent will specifically be focusing in the areas of information architecture and human centered design. *Responsibilities:* - Participates in ideation and design sessions with functional team and business users to bring concepts and requirements to life surrounding a B2B e-Commerce application as well as a CSR component · Develops concepts from the idea stage to final design by leveraging a designer toolkit that includes sketches, storyboards, detailed wireframes and clickable prototypes. - Develops graphical elements using industry-standard tools such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop - Develops and documents UI/UX standards, guidelines and design patterns that optimize adoption, usability and performance · Quickly and effectively communicates design ideas and rationalethrough use of supporting artifacts such as research findings, design trends, high-level conceptual design ideas, and detailed design specifications *Experience & Education:* · 5+ years’ experience in software application UX/UI design · 2+ years’ experience within mobile web application design; native app design [for iOS] is a plus · Position requires training in fields such as Human Computer Interaction, Human Factors, Interactive Design, Computer Science, Media Arts, Psychology, Anthropology, Fine Arts or other similar disciplines generally obtained through completion of a four year Bachelor's degree program. *Skills and Aptitudes:* - Enthusiastic critic of both mobile and web UX design patterns and implementations - Passion for creating clean, usable designs that engage users and facilitate success - Familiarity with working in an Agile team environment - Highly proficient in design and rapid prototyping tools like Omnigraffle, Visio, Balsamiq, Axure, Illustrator or Photoshop - Intellectually curious, yet practical and focused; Self-motivated - Thinks "outside the box" and seeks and promotes innovative solutions - Ability to independently research solutions and evaluate their validity in solving the problem at hand - Ability to reconcile conflicting objectives, finding acceptable compromises within given constraints - Strong verbal and written communication skills - Natural inclination towards good customer service including proactive engagement, "can-do" attitude and diligence in follow-up. - Comfortable working in a fluid, nimble, and collaborative environment *Email is the best way to reach me.* ISO 9001:2008 Certified WMBE Firm 1441 E.
