*****Immediately Needed A Consultant***** * ORACLE DBA (MUST BE LOCAL TO CA) San Leandro, CA long term contract * Support of Oracle database migrations, and testing candidate must be conversant in 11g Oracle RAC, upgrades from Oracle 10 - 11g, database tuning, and database replication, preferably with Quest Shareplex. Supporting major database integration initiatives responsible for following and insuring transition to standards and best practices of the enterprise Database Administration and Infrastructure team. Will require extensive understanding of Oracle 10gRAC, Oracle DataGuard, batch processing, and performance tuning. Large scale systems, tight timelines, partnering closely with application teams to implement, test, certify systems in multiple environments. All systems can take zero down-time for maintenance, they run active-always. Additional Notes: Production Support DBA. Skill required are end to end support from development to production. Candidates should be experienced and self directing accomplishing tasks with minimal direction needed. The initial project is to help finish migration from an Oracle 10g non-RAC environment to 11g which includes 11g RAC.
