My client is in need of an Oracle Core DBA to create, maintain, monitor and control Oracle and SQL Server databases. Oracle 9i, 10g and 11g, SQL Server 2000 and 2005. Must be able to troubleshoot database performance issues, identify and tune poorly performing SQL statements. Install, upgrade and patch Oracle and SQL Server binaries. Project database growth trends and assist in database and server capacity analysis. Must have hands on experience with RAC, Data Guard, RMAN, Oracle Enterprise Manager, as well as generating and analyzing AWR’s, ADDM, SQL Profiler. The duration of the position is 12 months (plus extensions).
