Job Title : Performance Test Lead Location : Providence, RI
Duration : 12 months *Citizenship Status:* US Citizen preferred; Green Card will be considered *Position Details: *As the Performance Test Lead, candidates must perform the following: • Develops data driven test automation scripts and executes performance and load testing of client products • Uses Load Runner to design and execute load and performance tests against Web applications, web services and SQL Server. • Awareness of industry of performance standards and to compare the application under test to these standards • Knowledge of performance bottlenecks and end-to-end performance web performance measures (server response time, throughput, network latency, etc.) • Ability to code basic load test scripts • An understanding of networking and web technologies such as VB.Net • Knowledge of web page composition (static vs. dynamic elements, browser behavior, etc.) • Some experience in collecting data, performing analysis on that data, and preparing reports • Possess high accountability and self-drive to take on and see through big challenges • Possess confidence, takes ownership, willingness to “do what it takes” to get the job done • Ability to work independently, take initiative with minimal supervision and with the flexibility to adapt quickly to changing client requirements Skills Required*: *MUST HAVE • Strong experience in using Load Runner • Experience in basic SQL Skills • Thorough understanding of performance testing concepts and methodologies • Possess strong problem solving skills • Knowledge in SDLC and development process using Scrum methodologies • Should be a very good listener and communicator • Must be a team player; excellent written and communication skills is a must • Ability to learn new tools & technologies quickly • Experience in State Motor Vehicle projects a plus Education/Experience Requirements: • Strong performance testing experience, including ability to use load tools to monitor, gather, and report application performance on Windows machines or a Linux machine • Experience delivering business value on time and with highest quality, even under aggressive release schedules • Possess strong test planning, test scenario, test case/script development and execution, test tracking, and test status reporting capability • 5+ Years of total IT experience with minimum of 3+ years of experience as a performance Tester of a distributed application/services using VB.Net technologies Regards, Tom Martin Sr. IT Recruiter Phone: 703-230-2631 <571-441-0419> (Mail) tmar...@idexcel.com http://www.idexcel.com -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "US_IT.Groups" group.
