Position: GUI Developer
Location: Boston, MA
Duration: 12+ months
Responsibilities
Build custom web front ends for enterprise solutions.
Work with business stake holders to provide relevant feedback during
the design phase of projects.
Work with Architecture & Operations to design and implement business
requirements.
Work IPG to deploy solutions.
Work with Operations group to train and transition day to day
operational task.
Skills Needed:
Technical engineer with experience for medium scale, cross
organizational based projects.
Thorough understanding GUI design and analysis.
Thorough understanding of use and implementation of HTML/AJAX solutions.
Thorough understanding of jQuery and Struts 1.3 and Struts 2.x
frameworks
Thorough understanding of use and implementation CSS (1,2,3).
Ability to manage and deliver on multiple threads within aggressive
timelines and shifting priorities.
Hands on experience with both Windows and Linux operating systems.
Knowledge of: Java
Knowledge of: JMS and message based design.
Experience with: Hibernate, Camel, ActiveMQ
Experience with: Tomcat and JBoss
Knowledge of: Web Services and XML
Knowledge of: REST and SOAP services
Knowledge of: Netbeans and Eclipse programming ide’s
Experience building production systems
Experience building cross platform web based solutions.
