We have a requirement for a Jr. Architect
We have a requirement for a Jr. Architect to perform as the primary
technical resource to design and implement enhancements and additions to an
existing data warehouse which hosts multiple star schema based data marts.
It’s projected that duties will include adding additional dimensions and
attributes to existing stars, designing new stars from underlying data
combined with new data sources. Must have experience with Kimball
Techniques.
Position: Jr. Architect
Duration: 7 months
Location: Augusta, ME
Required Skills:
· Kimball Techniques: Intermediate/Advanced, 3+yrs.
· Windows: Expert, 5+yrs.
· SQL: Expert, 5+yrs.
· SSIS: Expert, 5+yrs.
· SQL Server 2008R2, 2012: Expert, 5+yrs. - The primary target
system is a SQL Server 2008R2 database.
Preferred Skills:
· Java: Advanced – The ideal candidate will have experience and
with Java as it’s the expected technology for the web portal portion of
this work.
· Oracle: Intermediate – Currently have multiple data sources from
many technology stacks. Some basic understanding is very useful.
· Subversion/JIRA/Confluence: Beginner - Familiarity with some of
the tools we use in support of the project would be useful.
· Agile Scrum/Kanban: Beginner/Intermediate
