Position: *Systems Analyst-PowerBuilder*
Duration: 4 months-extendible
Location: Augusta, Maine
Interview: Phone+Skype
End Client: State Client of Maine
*JOB DESCRIPTION:*
Current system has potentially millions lines of code, approximately 1000
tables & 1000 screens. This project will require a document to be produced
that will explain the application & all of its internal functions. This
report will be utilized by an outside agency as a tool to ensure all system
functions are reviewed and will also assist in modernizing the system.
Application is written in Power Builder 12.5 and PL/SQL. It has an Oracle
11G backend soon to be converted to Oracle 12C. It utilizes Unix for many
functions.
*REQUIRED SKILLS:*
• PowerBuilder v 12.5 - Intermediate/Advanced
• PL/SQL - Intermediate/Advanced
• Oracle - Intermediate/Advanced
• VISIO - Doc tool for code & product flow charts/mapping -
Intermediate/Advanced
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Thorough understanding of required tools
• Ability to interpret code
• Must be self-directed
*PREFERRED:*
• UNIX - Intermediate skills preferred/helpful
• UNIX Shell Scripting - The shell scripting is tied to the PL/SQL, this
skill is a PLUS
