*Title: QA Analyst (S**QL experience for data mining/extraction)*
*Location: Boca Raton, Fl.**(only locals or nearby)*
*Duration: 12 months*
Here is a new req for a QA Analyst in Boca Raton, Fl.
They would prefer a local candidate but it is not required. Project
duration is 12 months with possible extensions. They will not require an
onsite interview but will need to have access to skype or web cam. No visa
restrictions. Let me know if you have any questions.
There is a big push on this, they really want someone over today, let me

Requirements:
- Review functional and design specifications to ensure full
understanding of scope, business and technical complexity and rules to
deliver comprehensive and quality solutions.
- Experience testing large data migration/conversion projects, includes
but is not limited to integration, regression and functional testing.
- Backend database testing using *Microsoft SQL* (must have strong SQL
skills) to ensure that the result sets accurately represents the expected
outcome.
- SQL experience for *data mining/extraction*.
- Experience writing *complex queries using joins* for backend data
validation and data extraction.
- Identify and ensure the resolution of data quality issues, such as
uniqueness, integrity, accuracy, consistency, and completeness in a
cost-effective and timely fashion.
- Assists with the development of test, reporting and communication
strategy.
- Communicate effectively time estimations, project dependencies and
potential impacts to timelines.
- Build out test case and test scripts based on requirements from
specifications, map test case requirements and design test coverage plan.
- Experience using *TFS or Quality Center* testing tool for documenting
test cases and reporting defects.
- Develop, document and maintain test scripts and other test artifacts
like business use cases, test data, data validation, expected result and
repeatable test scripts to QA complex business rules, reporting
deliverables and data transformation.
- Execute and evaluate test results and report on the outcome.
- Hold and facilitate test plan/case reviews with cross-functional team
members.
- Identify any potential quality issues per defined process and escalate
potential quality issues immediately to management.
- Ensure that validated deliverables meet functional and design
specifications and requirements.
- Isolate, replicate, and report defects and verify defect fixes.
- Status Reporting to Implementation Manager.
- Align with overarching data governance and compliance
policies/guidelines.
- Experience in project management methodologies and Software
Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
Soft-Skills:
- Looking for a candidate that is a self-starter
- Someone that will leverage resources properly by asking the right
questions and working with existing resources for knowledge transfer
- Strong communication skills- both written and verbal.
