*Job Title: QA Analyst* *Location: Brooklyn, NY 11201 (Need Locals)* *Duration : 4+ Months* *Interview : F2F* *Required Skills:* The proposed candidate is expected to possess at least 4 years of experience as a QA/Test team member; Previous programming experience, ability to create programs in Object Oriented Languages is a must Strong knowledge and ability to create complex SQL queries and work with SQL editors Ability to work with and validate Data Dictionaries Strong knowledge about XML file structure, XML schema, and XML file data validation. Fundamentals of MQ Knowledge ETL technologies and techniques Experience in performance test of back end systems Must be able to understand requirements and translate them into test cases Ability to create quality assurance plans based on the analysis of design documents and requirements, Create and execute test cases, log and assign defects and keep track of the defect status Hands-on experience using tools like XML Spy, Perfmon, and Test Director/Quality Center. Understanding of a variety of programming languages, architectures, and standards (e.g., J2EE-Java, n-tier architecture, service oriented architecture) Must be able to see tasks through to completion with minimal guidance Ability to work independently in time sensitive environment and be fully responsible for work results Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to clearly articulate to all project members and stakeholders; must be a team player who works well with technical and non-technical resources; *Desired Skills:* A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or Mathematics is desired; Experienced with formal SDLCs and business analysis methodologies; Working knowledge of business analysis documentation standards; Prior government project experience (NYC strongly preferred).
