The incumbent will support the delivery of Business Intelligence (BI) solutions throughout the client working with the BI analysts and project managers to develop and deploy reporting models in SAP BW. This is a senior position, requiring a deep knowledge of SAP BW and proven experience on multiple successful projects, including hands-on with all portions of the cycle from data modeling to data model production. **** ** ** Requirements:**** Candidates must be local or willing to relocate for the duration of the project**** • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, or related discipline; or equivalent work related experience.**** • Minimum of 5 years designing and implementing solutions in SAP BW version 7.0 or higher, preferably 7.3.**** • In-depth knowledge of BW Administrator Workbench.**** • Demonstrated experience in gathering, documenting and translating business requirements into technical data model requirements.*** * • Firm understanding of data modeling in dimensional structures. **** • Demonstrated knowledge of multi-dimensional data warehousing (star schema) and OLAP.**** • Demonstrated knowledge in Extraction, Transformation, and Loading (ETL) processes.**** • Experience with Business Objects Data Services is preferred.** ** • Demonstrated experience in sourcing data from non-SAP ERP systems into BW.**** • ABAP experience preferred.**** • Experience with MDM/MDG in BW a plus.**** • Experience with virtual info-providers, a plus.**** • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.**** • Excellent oral and written communication skills.**** ** ** Duties and Responsibilities:**** ** ** 1. Perform requirements analysis and data modeling.**** 2. Design, code, automate, schedule, and monitor load jobs. **** 3. Design dimensional data models (Star Schemas) that are optimized for performance and ease of report creation.**** 4. Design, maintain, develop and enhance databases and cubes as needed and ensure efficient processing and production of reports on an ongoing basis including ensuring data consistency of: data attributes, naming conventions, element value types (data cleansing).**** 5. Optimize performance of the data warehouse system, including solving interoperability issues.**** 6. Participate in technical discussions with senior application developers and architects to ensure seamless integration with application design requirements.**** 7. Support capacity planning, monitoring data warehouse growth and processor usage. **** 8. Source data from legacy systems that are to be loaded into the warehouse **** 9. Perform data quality analysis on reporting data marts.**** 10. Documentation of all data models.**** 11.
