PEGA Senior Developer: JD

Position Description (scope of work or brief narrative):

Experience in design and development of large scale Business Process
Management (BPM) and Business Rules Engines (BRE) applications using
PegaSystems' Pega Rules Process Commander (PRPC).
Well versed with Pega Work flows and Integrations.
8+ years’ experience in design and implementation of PRPC-based solutions,
including leadership role in design to develop shared/reusable enterprise
rules and workflow components within Pega Process Rules Commander.
Architects, designs highly scalable and reliable architecture solutions and
web-based applications,
Understands cross-platform architectures, Provides technical and business
explanation and justification for the architectural, design, and coding
approaches, Maintains currency, accuracy, and relevance of information,
including reporting known errors or inconsistencies in the information,
Develops software using industry standard programming techniques, Performs
unit testing and debugging of application components,
Performs other technical duties, as needed,
Must have strong verbal and writing skills,
Ability to work independently with minimal direction,
Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment,
Ability to work concurrently with multiple teams (business and technical)
in delivering consolidated solutions,
Must have strong analytical skills,
Works closely with business analysts and team members to provide IT- and
business-specific knowledge and expertise, and create solutions that are
aligned
Evaluate and review Design Frameworks and Methodologies and approves design
in order to achieve functional and non-functional requirements and
conformance to the architecture

Requirement gathering, analysis, designing and development of new
functionalities or enhancement of existing functionalities
Liaison with client Tech Leads, Business subject Matter Expertise( SMEs)
and offshore development team
Detailed description and years of experience, training, technical skills,
and other requirements for job performance:
Around 8+ years of experience in leading software architecture, design,
development, implementation of IT projects.
Architect solutions in various verticals like PEGA, IBM-BPM, and
technologies
5+ years’ experience in design and implementation of PRPC-based solutions,
including leadership role in design to develop shared/reusable enterprise
rules and workflow components within Pega Process Rules Commander.
3+ years’ experience with PRPC v6.x (preferably V6.1. or above) with
experience in new Pega7 capabilities
Experience on Pega CPM, HealthCare Frameworks preferred
Previous experience as a lead architect on multiple large-scale product or
enterprise designs
Should have worked as a Rules Architect involving architecture design and
development for Rules projects.
Preference will be given to candidates with domain knowledge on US Public
Sector.
Strong analytical and communication skills
