*Mandatory Technical/Functional Skills:*
· Understanding of Data Center architectures, experience in
planning, design & implementation of Data Center infrastructure
· Deep understanding of TCP/IP protocol suits
· Good knowledge on Application Acceleration and Optimization
technologies
· Will be able to design, deploy & support Cisco data center
products with hands-on experience in operation and configuration of Cisco
network devices (e.g. routers, switches, Load Balancers, Storage Networks,
Application Optimizers)
· Catalyst 6500 & other catalyst platforms product architecture
knowledge and hands on experience is a must
· Experience on WAAS, CSS products is a must
· Experience on Nexus platform and ACE products is a plus
· Experience in leading a team in applying all elements of
Technical Consulting
· Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
· Experience in building and designing large multi-protocol
inter-networks
· Demonstrated industry awareness
· Must be comfortable making Disaster Recovery Models or
recommendations.
· Understanding of Datacenter applications
· Certifications - CCNP mandatory, CCIE Preferred
*Roles and Responsibilities: *
· Develop and nurture strong customer relationships with the data
center design, operations and support personnel to play an ‘advisory’ role
o Works on complex and sensitive business problems and helps implement
state of the art data center solutions
o Participates in developing the strategy and initiatives for the data
center services team and assists with driving development and execution
o Interact with other data center consulting engineers and project
managers spread globally
o Work with service teams, delivery partners and clients to establish
credibility and capability to configure, deploy and operate world class
datacenter environments supported by world class technical and professional
services.
o Work closely with engineering and practices teams to build unique
technical skills and best practices to optimize the use of our technology
in modern datacenter environments.
o Assist the team in the prioritization and development of key
activities, tools to use and technical implementation programs
o On key projects may be member of a highly talented team to deploy and
support new data center technologies**
