*Salesforce Developer* *Location:* *Albany, NY* *Interview mode: Phone then Skype(Near By’s)* *Visa: USC or GC or EAD;s* *End client name: New York State Office of Information Technology Services (ITS)* *Tasks:* • Ongoing customization and development of objects, fields, record types, page layouts, Apex Classes, VisualForce Pages, triggers, etc. • Working with management, business SME's and end-users to create and manage complex workflow rules, data validation, and triggers • Managing Integrations with PeopleSoft and SQL Server Data Warehouse • Configuring user profiles, role hierarchy, sharing rules and security • Working with the project manager to schedule work • Performing applicable testing • Ongoing documentation • Communicating and applying future Salesforce releases and enhancements • Providing help and support for internal and external users *Expected Deliverables* 1. Technical design documentation 1. Test plans 2. Tested APEX code & Visual Force Pages *Experience Level: mid-level to senior ( 6+ years)* *The Contractor should be able to demonstrate the following skills* · 4-5 years’ experience developing directly on Salesforce/force.com products using APEX, Visual force and *SOQL*. · Experience with DBAmp (preferred) · Experience with web services (SOAP or REST) · HTML, JQuery and CSS experience · Experience managing production updates/releases · Understanding of relational databases and data integration tools · Excellent communication and analytical skills · Salesforce Certified Developer a plus - Systematic and proactive approach. - Self-starter, highly organized and learns quickly. - Practices continuous process improvement.
