* * *DESCRIPTION:* The *Sr Test Specialist* will ensure the successful completion of software projects by executing software quality activities throughout the software development life cycle. The specialist is actively involved in preparation and execution of manual and automated test efforts, which includes test design, and authoring of test cases and defining data requirements. In addition, the test specialist will be involved in review of requirements, defect management, and other test activities. *RESPONSIBILITIES:* · Create and execute manual and automated test cases based on test strategy and test plans · Develop and maintain test automation frameworks · Develop documentation to facilitate usage of test automation framework · Participate in reviews of system architecture, and design documents · Effectively communicate testing activities and findings in oral and written formats · Support test lead to identify risks and to develop mitigation strategies *REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:* · Experience developing code for functional regression testing using the Rational Suite products · Experience with data driven automation techniques · Practical knowledge and experience in all phases of software QA · Experience with testing at different levels (unit, functional, integration, system, load and performance testing) · Excellent written and oral communication skills *PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:* · 2 - 4 years experience with test automation development and maintenance for web based applications using the Rational Suite · 2 - 4 years experience with developing generic and reusable automation frameworks that are used to support multiple applications · 2 - 4 years experience with developing test scripts -- Thanks & Regards Kevin Maripax Solutions | ke...@maripax.com www.Maripax.com --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "US_IT.Groups" group.
