Well versed with Data modeling. ? Logical and physical database designs ? Data Warehouse experience ? Establish archive process for existing and future database structure. ? Able to work on multiple databases to create data warehouse/s. ? Perform database optimization, administration and maintenance (partitioning tables, partitioning indexes, indexing, normalization, synchronization, job monitoring, etc). ? Monitor database server capacity/performance and make infrastructure and architecture recommendations to management for necessary changes/updates ? Importing / exporting data from various sources to create the data model based on requirements. Knowledge of various databases (SQL/Oracle/MS Access) ? Establish best practices for T-SQL scripting and encouraging development teams to follow these practices via mentorship and training ? Establish and enforce database change management standards including pushes from development to QA, on to production, etc ? Expertise in Troubleshooting and performance monitoring SQL Server Database server (Query Tuning, Server Tuning, Disk Performance Monitoring, Memory Pressure, CPU bottleneck etc.) ? Should be able to document and conduct meetings time to time on how to achieve the end goal. ? Maintain documentation of production environment. ? 5+ years direct experience working with data Architecture, design & development support ? Knowledge of Multiple tools for importing data. ? Knowledge of SSIS required. ? Excellent communication skills ? Should be able to quantify and maintain the accuracy of data and automation of importing regular data dumps. ? Knowledge of sftp.
