Required skills
Should have good knowledge of OSS domain such as Wireless, Cable,
DSL, VoIP, Pots, IPTV
Should be able to convert the Inventory Requirements into a Technical
Design Document
Able to convert the Technical Design Document into UIM cartridges
using Design Studio
Should be able to develop rulesets, extension points, etc in the
cartridge
Should be able to perform data migration of entities from external
inventory systems to UIM using scripts, rulesets, etc
Conceptual model, Reference Implementation, RSDOD & SR2B
implementation knowledge is an added advantage.
Should be able to develop web-services cartridges in order to provide
an automated interface to UIM for the cartridges that are modeled
Worked with UIM in a federation/cooperation mode
Should have performed UIM installation – standalone as well HA (high
availability) cluster
Technical Skills - Good skill in JAVA, J2EE, SOAP, HTTP, SSH, TCP/IP,
TELNET, CORBA, RMI, LDAP, JMS, SSL, SNMP, SQL, XSLT, XQUERY, XML, Drools,
WebLogic Administration, Bridging and SAF configurations, Oracle RDBMS,
PLSQL programming.

Detailed Job Description and Requirements
1. An experienced telecom consulting professional who has prior Design &
Development working experience on Oracle UIM & related tools & technologies.
2. Operates independently to provide quality Design & implementation
work products on UIM oriented solution.
3. 4-6 years of experience relevant to this position including 3-4 years
telecom consulting experience. Ability to communicate effectively. Ability
to build rapport with team members and clients.
Required Qualifications
1. Should have good knowledge of OSS domain such as Wireless, Cable,
DSL, VoIP, Pots, IPTV
2. Should have played developer or technical lead role in at least two
implementations.
3. Should be able to work both as an individual or in a team.
4. Education - Should have done BE/BTech/MCA/MTech in any of this branch
- Computer Science, Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunications.
5. Should possess awareness of TMF/eTOM, SID Data Model & RSDOD
6. Should be able to convert the Inventory Requirements into a Technical
Design Document
7. Should be familiar with the UIM Inventory Managers such as Telephone
Number Manager, Equipment Manager, etc
8. Able to convert the Technical Design Document into UIM cartridges
using Design Studio
9. Should have good knowledge of UIM PSR model & be able to model
logical as well as physical inventory in UIM cartridge
10. Should be able to develop rulesets, extension points, etc in the
cartridge
11. Should be able to perform data migration of entities from external
inventory systems to UIM using scripts, rulesets, etc
12. Familiarity with one or more Tech Packs such as GSM Mobile Tech
Pack, Metro Ethernet Services, etc & should be able to extend the above
mentioned tech packs to meet customer requirements
13. Conceptual model, Reference Implementation, RSDOD & SR2B
implementation knowledge is an added advantage.
14. Should be able to develop web-services cartridges in order to
provide an automated interface to UIM for the cartridges that are modeled
