Rate: - market. *Candidate must have experience in Oracle RAC and Clustering in Linux and HP UX envorinment. * Job Description. *Must have 8 yrs+ of experience with Linux and HP UX* *Must have 3 yrs+ of experience with clustering , oracle RAC on Linux environment * - HPUX (networking, kernel param & tuning, trouble shooting system & perf issues, pkg mgmt, patch mgmt) - linux (networking, kernel param & tuning, trouble shooting system & perf issues, pkg mgmt, patch mgmt) - SAN storage technologies (like rdf, snaps, etc) preferably with EMC will be plus -sound volume management skills preferably hp lvm will be plus - clustering experience: HP MC/SG, GFS, Veritas Clustering and Oracle RAC on Linux 6) Basic level scripting (either shell or perl should be fine) but should be capable of understanding other shell scripts Strong technically in Linux and HPUX * Good trouble shooting knowledge - OS and Hardware. * Knowledge of EMC & NetApp storage products/tools * Knowledge in LVM, VxVM, DNS, DHCP, NFS, HP Service guard & VMware * Ability to work with users to detail service delivery requirements and system functionality. * Tasks include large system configuration, systems troubleshooting and design, high level problem analysis and tool design. * Ability to order, configure and install equipment. * Ability to repair, reconfigure and install servers/clusters * Ability to work closely with DBAs, client teams and management ensuring that systems are managed per established service level agreements. * Ability to manage cases to resolution, refresh/copy databases using Unix commands & scripts * Ability to multi-task, handle multiple projects, large and small with varying degree of complexity * Ability to work under tight timelines and pressure * Ability to work cross-functionally in a global team environment * Be flexible in work hours to accommodate global teams and business needs If interested please send us your resume with visa, rate and contact details ASAP.
