Position: AUTOMATION TEST ENGINEER Location: Reston,VA Duration: 6+ Months Rate :$38/hr ** ***JOB DESCRIPTION* The candidate will be converting excel over to XML the majority of the time. * **TEST AUTOMATION ENGINEER*** *The Automated Software tester will perform the following duties in support of the Central Business Rules Service:* Develop tools that covert csv to xml. Create and Maintain XML data generation Scripts in Visual Basic or QTP Use XSLT to transform Uniform Loan Delivery Data XML files to the Comman Loan Data Format Create automation scripts for submitting requests to the Loan Validation Service Create automation scripts for validating the CBRS interface Implement data mapping of key elements to be validated in XML results Perform Input/Output Content Validation of Raw XML Results from the Central Business Rules Service Implement mapping of XML elements being stored in the database for validation Create QTP or Visual Basic automation scripts in conjunction with SQL to validate database table element storage *Must have’s:* Strong Automated Software Testing Experience, Experience with Quality Center (e.g., Components); abililty to efficiently and effectively create QuickTestPro scripts, Proficient in Visual Basic; experience implementing XML and database processing Experience in Quality assurance testing; ability to peform black box and boundary testing; ability to create and maintain regression suites, Proficient in XSLT, XML File Creation, Processing and Validation Proficient in SQL and Database data testing Strong analytical, oral communication and writing skills, Team player and works well with others, Solid understanding of the full software development life cycle, configuration management and release cycles, Ability to independently conduct root cause analysis of identified defects, providing development/business partners with sufficient detail to understand, replicate and resolve Attention to detail is critical *Like to have’s:* 5+ Years of Automated Software Testing Experience 4+ Years Experience in Quality Center (e.g., Components) and Quick Test Pro Scripting, Proficiency in Visual Basic, experience implementing XML and database processing, Proficiency in XML, XSLT, and XML File Creation/Processing and Schema Validation, Proficiency in SQL and Database Data Validation Experience, Significant experience in software testing methologies (e.g., black box, boundary, white box and risk based testing), Understanding of UNIX, Demonstrate knowledge of some of the following: (Java (J2EE), C/C++, shell programming, Perl), Knowledge of the US Residential Mortgage Industry preferred, Experience in developing data driven tools 5-7 Years relevant experience If you interested in this job position mentioned please response with your resume in MS word format with these details: Full Name: Current Location: Contact No (Cell and Landline): Email ID: Visa Status: Availability: Currently on Project (Y/N): Open to relocate: Total Exp US Exp.
