6 months contract-to-hire position for a Pega Senior Systems Architect in Reston, VA or Ft Collins, CO Client - Vistronix. *Non-local candidates* will be considered, but relocation expenses are not provided. Successful candidate is subject to a background investigation by the government and must be able to meet the requirements to hold a position of public trust. Overview: Our client is actively seeking a Pega Senior Systems Architect to join our team in Reston, VA or Ft Collins, CO to support development efforts for a government client. Responsibilities: The Pega Senior System Architect will need to have a solid background and experience developing software on the Pega platform. This person will be relied upon as a subject matter expert of the technology, its capabilities and best practices. Principal responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: ∙ Collaborate closely with other highly skilled Pega system architects. ∙ Be a champion of Pega’s technology and its value to the customer. ∙ Develop foundational enhancements to existing production Pega applications. ∙ Design and implement new Pega applications and prototypes. ∙ Establish standards and best practices for a Pega Center of Excellence (CoE). ∙ Mentor and support junior-level system architects to cultivate and sustain Pega expertise for the customer and within the company. ∙ Integrate Pega applications with external APIs, web services and legacy data sources. ∙ Estimate implementation level of effort based upon requirements and design. ∙ Divide large, complex tasks into actionable, iterative subtasks. ∙ Articulate and manage tasks, using software project tracking tools, like code Beamer, JIRA, or Rational Team Concert. Qualifications: Education and Experience: · Masters or Bachelor’s degree required – Computer Science degree preferred · At least 6 years’ experience supporting a software/hardware development efforts · At least 3-6 years’ specific experience as a Pega SSA. · Pega SSA and LSA certification Required Skills and Competencies: The successful candidate will have experience in the following: · Proven experience developing enterprise-class Pega applications. · Experience in all phases of software development lifecycle, including analysis, design, implementation, testing and deployment. · Strong Object-Oriented design and implementation skills. · Experience with design and development of UI’s, using JavaScript, HTML and custom CSS Stylesheets. · Experience in creating SOAP/REST connectors/services. · Exceptional communication skills in English both written and oral. · Experience in Agile Development Methodology, especially PegaSCRUM. · Experience developing on PegaMobile or the AMP platform · Experience in PRPC version 7.1.x · Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues. · Strong understanding of relational database design concepts Desired Skills: · Experience working for a federal government customer · Knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) · Experience integrating with GIS maps and features With Regards, Neha Kumari Sr.Talent Acquisition Note: We are Through Tier-1 Vendor.
