Responsibilities: ·
Will be part of the
clients GES department and is responsible for solutioning, testing, deployment
and L3 support of logistics applications. Responsible to ensure the solution
integrity, the alignment with the business requirements and the successful
deployment globally. ·
The type of
activities the jobholder will be working on is project management, gap analysis,
solution design, solution build, unit testing, training, rollout (Testing and
post go-live support) and enhancements. ·
Will be a subject
matter expert in our logistics Applications
footprint. ·
The position entails
good knowledge of several applications areas and integration points as well as
driving important divisional and global projects going
forward. Key Knowledge
Areas:- ·
Recent Oracle
Warehouse Management experience of at least one full circle implementation OR At
least one full circle project of experience integrating Oracle with systems of a
3pl provider ·
Oracle knowledge on
multi-national cross-country implementations. ·
At least 15 years of
professional experience in Oracle EBS systems implementation activities
(upgrades, new implementations and rollouts) ·
At least 5 years of
team lead experience with a minimum of 3 people (contractors or
FTE) ·
At least 5 years of
experience with EDI interfaces including the transmission, message flow,
document format, and software used to interpret the
documents ·
Demonstrated
functional knowledge of ERP in the Supply Chain area, Inventory, Order
Management, Shipping, Purchasing areas are a must ·
Demonstrated project
management experience ·
Demonstrated
experience implementing or working with transportation management or global
trade management software is a plus. Samir
