Rate: * * *Requirement:* *Title: Lead Microstrategy Developer/ Analyst * *Duration: 6+ months* *Location: Philadelphia –PA* *Job Description / Responsibility:* * * This position is responsible for business analysis, requirements gathering and management, and development and delivery of MicroStrategy reports and other data output formats. The Sr. Business Intelligence Engineer works with business stakeholders as customers to critically assess and determine their reporting needs and requirements, including report design specifications and approvals. This resource must be well-spoken, self-motivated and able to work with both business resources and third party vendors. This resource will need to have proficient knowledge of the underlying data warehouse, critically working with the data/ETL team to provide direction in how to roll in any needed aggregates or data model or ETL changes to support report development requirements. This resource is also responsible for the set-up and training business resources on the use of an ad-hoc reporting environment. *RESPONSIBILITIES* · Manage report deliveries as end-to-end projects from inception/requirements through delivery, acceptance and training · Plan, conduct and direct the definition and analysis of business intelligence data requirements and needs on behalf of individual business stakeholders · Create mockups of report designs, and work with the business customers to optimize and sign off on report definitions · Use MicroStrategy to develop specified reports for the business, working with the Data Warehouse team to ensure report data is available in the data warehouse for the report generation · Drive and participate in quality assurance and user acceptance testing processes · Train end users as required for new employees or new report functionality for existing employees · Drive the administration of the MicroStrategy reporting environment as required · Manage the scheduling and distribution of standard reports · Work with the business to critically assess their data analysis needs and develop a rollout roadmap based on those needs · Provide support for any data quality, report display, training or other issues associated with the MicroStrategy report and ad-hoc environment *Required Skills* · B.A. or applicable degree and/or equivalent work experience · At least 5 years of business intelligence report analysis and requirements definition · At least 3 year experience with MicroStrategy reporting software · Experience with project managing end-to-end business report requirements collection as well as business stakeholder management. · Ability to effectively manage and execute against reporting requirements from inception to delivery. · Ability to develop and deliver necessary documentation to support end-to-end report development, including report requirements, specification mock ups, testing scenarios, project management artifacts and training materials. · Ability to think and communicate critically, in order to support and facilitate strategic analytical initiatives · Knowledge of data modeling concepts, data warehouse and data aggregation processes and strategies · Ability to facilitate requirements gathering meetings and experience with project management tools, techniques and methodologies. · Ability to communicate with and provide direction to members of an external team. · Ability to manage schedules and priorities proactively. *Prefer to have but not required* · Previous experience with Unica · Previous experience with Netezza or Teradata Database Regards, *Pavan Kumar* *: *pa...@e-zencomp.com<../../Local%20Settings/Temporary%20Internet%20Files/OLK1E/pa...@e-zencomp.com> Ph No: 609-945-1186 Fax No: 609 452 5613 www.e-zencomp.com<../../Local%20Settings/Temporary%20Internet%20Files/OLK1E/www.e-zencomp.com> Yahoo IM: jason.virtuosa ***Partner to PTC Arbortext products.
