Java /Spring exp. We are looking for someone who is excited at the prospect of totally changing an industry that is ripe for change. Responsibilities: Will be part of a technology team delivering SaaS products for our clients. This person will be responsible for: •Developing SaaS and website products using Java with the Spring Framework and Hibernate •Reviewing application requirements and project documentation; asks follow-up questions as needed in order to gain a full understanding of requirements •Working hands-on with both backend and other frontend developers •Being involved in team architectural discussions •Solving complex problems, creating object models, defining API's, building web services, etc •Working in a very iterative/agile development environment •Able to quickly transition through 3 week production release cycles •Work directly with others (developers and internal stakeholders) to develop a solid understanding of the business application and requirements for which the application is being designed •Assist others with questions regarding the functionality of applications Requirements: The successful candidate must have the following experience, skills, and education: •At least 3-5 years of experience in web development using Java and Spring •Understands and can apply MVC patterns •Has built SaaS applications in a service oriented architecture •Experience designing and building web services (SOAP, REST, or some other type) •Does not need to be a DBA, but needs to understand traditional relational data models and how they map to object models.
