This includes defining standards and leading the data integration related deliverable quality/review checkpoints to ensure compliance with standards/best practices. The SSIS architect is also responsible for configuring SQL Integration Services (SSIS) software, and developing appropriate architecture tool-kits and re-useable components for error handling, back-up/recovery, and failure/re-start processes. · Must have 2+ years of experience as a SSIS architect and 7 years of SSIS experience · Experience in the healthcare industry a plus The SSIS Architect is responsible for the following deliverables: • Application interface specifications; • Data integration specifications; • Data quality specifications; • Operations guide; and • Operations training material. The SSIS architect is also responsible for: • Developing the integration test data acquisition plan; • Preparing the integration test environment; • Creating integration test cases/test steps; • Coordinating the execution of integration tests; • Identifying development defects; • Creating release packages (to move from integration test to quality assurance environments); • Validating that object migration is complete; and • Creating release/transition plans as appropriate. .
