Location: Seattle WA Duration: 6+ months Phone/Skype Position Purpose: An Application Support Analyst 4 - Middleware has in-depth experience, knowledge and skills in configuring and supporting Tibco, particularly BusinessWorks, EMS, RVD and multiple types of adapters, as well as in configuring and supporting Weblogic or similar systems. They also have an in-depth knowledge and skill base in supporting the Oracle Fusion application, particularly OSB, SOA Suite, AIA, CEP, BAM, GOV, Data Grid, Enterprise Registry and Enterprise Manager. An Analyst IV is able to work independently on escalated issues and prioritizes, investigates and resolves them without guidance from others. Frequently an Analyst IV will lead teams and projects to resolve complex technical issues. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: • Proactively suggest ways of improving system configuration in order to stabilize system stability, availability, performance, and reliability during a high-load of changes • Able to understand and navigate the complex Middleware environment as it relates to configuration • Able to prioritize and resolve multiple complex and critical issues related to emergency configurations while supporting normal change requests • Plan for supporting both applications functionality and capacity requirements in a rapidly growing, changing and complex environment • Protect and insure the stability of the operational systems as well as maintain the integrity of the data they contain • Assist in determining the impact of operational issues and provide input into their resolution via data extraction and quantification • Coordinate and prioritize all escalated activities, including testing, project management and implementation of system upgrades, enhancements, and bug fixes • Assess critical path and assist in implementation of any project required by the business • Available to provide 24 X7 on call support on a rotating basis with other team members Secondary Duties and Responsibilities: • Transfer knowledge to other members of your team as well as across to other groups • Assist in testing of new software as escalated Functional/Technical Skills: • Proactively review infrastructure changes and assess the risk • Communicate changes and potential risks • Conduct self-directed investigations into data irregularities, and proactively identify and resolve potential system problems • Serve as an escalation point for difficult problems and complex inquiries. • Act as a peer group leader to and help train staff • Resolve day-to-day configuration support issues ensuring effective and timely resolution • Resolve conflicts and trace errors • Develop solid relationships with infrastructure/operational teams and leverage the relationships to improve system stability and availability Qualifications Experience: • Strong experience working with *nix using command line tools (preferably RedHat Linux, 6-10 years preferred) • Strong experience supporting a Tibco integration platform for an enterprise caliber system (3 to 6 years preferred) • Strong experience with scripting in a Unix environment (Shell or Perl acceptable, 4-6 years preferred) • Extensive experience in troubleshooting internal customer related issues and managing customer relationships required (4 to 6 years preferred) • Experience working with Java Virtual Machines from a support and troubleshooting perspective • Experience working with Oracle building SQL queries through multiple interfaces • Experience working with WebLogic Server in an environment with multiple domains and multiple managed servers for each domain • System Analysis experience in the support/operation of a of large carrier class enterprise middleware system, preferably in a wireless environment • Experience in testing, quality, and change management methodologies • Previous experience in 24hrs/day, 7days/week systems support capacity Education: • 4 year degree (In Information Technology related field preferred) or equivalent work experience Thanks & Regards, *Viren Yadav* *Source Infotech Inc.* 40 Brunswick Avenue, Suite # 200, Edison, NJ, 08817 EMAIL: *vi...@sourceinfotech.com* <lya...@sourceinfotech.com> Gmail: *viren.sourceinfot...@gmail.com <viren.sourceinfot...@gmail.com>* *Phone:* *609-945-0827*| Fax: *732-909-2282* | Gtalk/Yahoo: *viren.rgtalent* *http://www.linkedin.com/pub/virendra-yadav/77/347/a69 <http://www.linkedin.com/pub/virendra-yadav/77/347/a69>* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "US_IT.Groups" group.
