*Position:- UI/UX Developer* *Location:- Chicago, IL* *Duration:- 4+ month* *MOI:- Telephonic + Face 2 Face * *Responsibilities * · Creating front-end UI design/development/implementation that delivers solid UX through established UI patterns · Building mock-ups/wireframes/rapid prototypes that are in line with project goals · Delivering user-centered, clean, responsive, and intuitive interfaces with optimized code · Ensure designs support development best practices. · Establishing and documenting design standards/patterns for usage across products to achieve an integrated and consistent experience · Managing your time while juggling multiple projects; providing accurate level-of-effort estimates using an Agile methodology · Conducting ongoing research of web-based UI/UX design and development best practices · Mentoring other designers/developers *Required Skills * · At least 3-5 years of professional experience in front-end web/application design and development · Expertise with modern design theory and practices in responsive web and interaction design, with a focus on cross-browser compatibility · Clear understanding of usability, user-centered design, and web standards · Experience developing responsive designs with media queries and responsive frameworks. · Application (web & mobile) design experience (not just static sites) · Advanced knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3 including CSS preprocessors. · Advanced experience integrating front-end interactions using JavaScript and jQuery · Advanced knowledge of legacy and modern cross-browser implementation (IE5+) · Strong understanding of templates, grid system, typography, iconography, color, etc. · Knowledgeable with Adobe Creative Suite · Excellent written and verbal communication skills · Native iOS development experience a huge PLUS ( XCODE / OBJ-C / SWIFT ) · Familiar with development practices for accessibility / 508 compliance a PLUS Education and Qualifications · 5 years of work experience as part of a UX team in creating digital solutions for complex web, responsive, and native mobile applications. · Bachelor’s degree in a Computer Science or related field. · Excellent portfolio showcasing design work that was successfully articulated into production quality code. · Strong communication and presentation skills, self motivated with the ability to work with a team and independently to perform multiple tasks under minimal supervision · Strong understanding of website design methodologies (e.g. mobile first, responsive/adaptive design) and native mobile app design standards across iOS and Android · Working knowledge of various web development languages ( e.g. HTML, CSS, JQuery, JavaScript) as they relate to design. Must be able to present a portfolio of work and be able to explain the process that lead to the design solution.
