HI all,
I am currently playing with the localnotification feature (on iOS).
Works fine, but I do not seem to be able to REMOVE the badge
from the app icon on iOS once it has appeared.
Know what I mean?
Did not find anything in the docs, what am I misssing?
Any help much appreciated! Thanks!
Hi list,
Is there a way to get the points of a Regular Polygon
graphic, or do I have to compute it myself using the
loc, width, height and number of sides of the graphic ?
Thanks,

Hi jbv,
I don't think there is an easy way to get the points of a regular
polygon. If you are going to do calculations, you might as well
calculate the points for the shape you want and use these for an
(irregular) polygon.

Does anybody have a solution for Livecode's propensity to open the
script editor window partially off the bottom of the screen? Ideally I'd
like Livecode to remember where I closed it and reopen it in the same
size and location.
I've had a little bit of luck in the past by editing the
The script editor does open at the same size and location where you left it...
Well, just tested it on OSX 9 ans LC 6.5.1... opened the script editor, sized
it and put it in the topleft of the screen... closed it... opened it again and
it appeared in the same place... then shut liveCode down...
I'm no longer having any problems now that I've updated to 6.5.1,
working on Windows 8.1. I haven't tested on a Mac or in a standalone yet.
Paul, many thanks for this workaround. It may come in quite handy when
I distribute and need it for the Mac side of things.

Really? I wonder why it's working as expected for you and not for me?
I guess it has something to do with the different operating systems.

desktop and just one on my laptop but it never remembers the

Hi there,
There is something really weird going wrong with mobileControlGet
for LiveCode in iOS. When I get the MaximumPixelLengthOfField it
first reports 15022. If I jump to that location to see the last line, I
discover that it really isn’t at the end of the field at all. After

Hi Jim,
Using a command line utility is probably easier than figuring out how to
interact with a GUI app. A GUI app like WinSCP has command line options,
but then you might as well use CURL for example.

There is a thread on this in the forums. Only freehand graphics, lines and
polylines have points. Regular polygons and even rectangles do not. I made a
feature request for this. But the forum thread addresses this thoroughly,

Funny how it is the Roadmap from last year.
Naughty; where's the 'top story' ?
What would be much more useful is the 'Roadmap' with the items that have
