My impression is that this is different now from the past. I recall loads of
questions from beginners a couple years ago. I don't follow the forums (maybe I
should check them out) so I was unaware that beginner questions have now
migrated there. My mistake.

I have two apps with very similar layouts, groups and widgets.
*System Details*
XCode is Version 6.2 (6C131e)
OS X 10.9.5
LC 8.0.1 Indy
I build for iPad iOS 8.2
One app looks correct with all widgets, fields etc

I've done some work on preferences recently and there are a number of issues
but I think the core of it is preferences are currently undocumented. I've

I had then always a lot of windows open or too many
(closed) stacks in memory.
That's why I cannot fix a situation for a bug report.

It has always been my impression that this list IS for and by advanced users
of LiveCode.
While I follow this list, I always ask my questions (which is usually of the
Beginner variety) on the Forum.
