In LiveCode, usually you're asked to save a stack, even if you didn't
change it.
The reason is that the property that indicates that the stack has been
changed, is set to true when a field gets focus. A field gets focus

The shell function can do this. I don't know if there could be a limit

I got it running in 5 minutes. The guy who uploaded it says he has removed all
references to passwords. I have no idea why this was a problem for him, but it
is nice that he returned the modified files as required by the oss licence.

Probably not, because the offending file(s) need(s) to be installed in
the Windows directory to be effective. A Mac doesn't have a Windows
directory. Any guest OS's running in a virtual machine however may be
affected.
