This fix can easily be applied to your local install of LC 8.x:
1. Navigate to LiveCode
8.x.y.app/Contents/Tools/Toolset/resources/supporting_files/property_definitions/
2. Find file "com.livecode.interface.classic.PolygonGraphic.tsv" and rename
it to "OLD_com.livecode.interface.c
Before anyone gets over-excited by the fact that the LiveCode team have,

sorted out the silly invisible polygon graphic object in LiveCode
(a.k.a. Polly-Gone) in 9.0.1 rc 1:
*1.* I think it is extremely shabby that LiveCode 8 was EOLed without
that being sorted out.
