I don't have an opinion on certifications, at least not one I feel strongly
enough about to advocate for it on a mailing list. I was just saying what I

I don't think so. Yes, it depends on the company and the decision-maker,
but my experience has been that interviews, sample problems, and
discussions with others seem to be far better predictors.
