Splash screens have been discouraged for quite a while. What you're meant to do
is use an image of your app's screen with anything that needs to load remov

Hi All,
Based on comments on the list and forum, I'm going to try to submit an app
without the Retina sizeā¦ but including a 144 icon and the Retina Splash.
But, I hit a bump...
I'm using OSX 8.3 and have tried LC 6.1 and 6.1.1 rc1.
The 72 and 144 icons and 1024 x 768 splash were accepted by LC
