Hello
Just to clarify (i cannot test under iPhone 5) :
To have an app that works on iPhone 5 under iOS 6 we need to wait Livecode
5.5.3 (to work with Xcode 4.5).
It's right ?
Or it is already possible to compile with LC 5.5.2 and Xcode 4.1) ?

Thanks for the answers.
I will try to recompile with 5.5.2 and Xcode 4.4.1 and send an update.
And I hope Runrev people can tell us some more details.
I still prefer not to change Xcode version untill knowing more about this
issues.
William, please let us know your results with Xcode 4.5.

Hi there,
The same crashes for me on my iPhone on iOS 6. Last year was the same thing
with iOS 5.
Recompiling should be enough. But testing on iOS 6 needs Xcode 4.5 and I
don't know if LC 5.5.2 is compatible with it.
I will test tonight.
greetings,
William

Hi Sergio,
I just noticed the same thing. My 2 crash as well.
I'm assuming I have to recompile them and submit an update.
Does anyone know if there is anything within the app that must be changed... or
will an "old" stack that is recompiled run on iOS 6?

Hi,
I`ve just installed iOS 6 in my iPhone and the apps I've made with LiveCode
crash immediately while opening. :-(
Is there any issue that we must update regarding to iOS 6 ?
It only happens to me or does someone had the same troubles ?
Thanks.

I got a developer email from Apple today inviting me (and a quarter of a
million others, I suppose) to download iOS 6 beta 3 and XCode 4.5 Developer
Preview 3. Maybe my search of RunRev's iOS Release notes hasn't been thorough
enough, but I can't work out whether, if I did this
"iOS 6 beta 3 and Xcode 4.5 Developer Preview 3 are now available"
I just got a notification from Apple that these are downloadable. Is
anyone using iOS6 and Xcode 4.5 with Livecode mobile?
Or would that be a bad idea at this time? Is there a way to make more than
one version availa
Brian,
LiveCode 5.5.1 was officially released a couple days ago. It should include
support for iOS 6, including testing in the simulator (if you have Xcode 4.5
installed) and a fix for apps that crash under iOS 6.

Made the mistake of moving to iOS 6, not realizing that my LC apps would not
open. Fortunately I have some other iOS devices in the house that I can
continue to work with, but can anyone point me to any news regarding when LC
will be able to compile for iOS 6?
Thank you,
Brian
By the way, the sheep herder app works ok. So, something that later LiveCode is
doing seems to bother iOS 6.

That's not good but I guess it's only beta.

Ok so most of us have had a look at the new iOS features. It's nice to know
mergMK will automatically start using the new maps engine. I'm sure there's
some new bling to add in there.
I'm really keen to hear what would be the top priority for a new external? The
