Just a follow-up note on this problem with Larry's crashing stack.
It turns out locking messages still didn't prevent a crash on any
version of Rev I have. So I had to get a bit more sneaky and access
the stack's contents BEFORE opening it. Turns out there were a number

This is a rework of an older plugin with new interface and removal of
frontscripts. Some other GUI features have been added such as auto-hiliting

It only does one thing, but it does it well.

Turns out there's not an easy fix. I'm building a Layer management tool and
I want to be able to manipulate layers inside groups and groups inside
groups while maintaining the group boundaries. Currently, Rev's IDE can't
do this. In fact, in Rev's IDE you can't relayer
