Key Combo to Move/Resize Locked Items

Is there a command or keyboard combination where I can hold the "alt" or "ctrl" key and have the ability to resize a Location Locked item? It would be a great time saver as I'm getting tired of having to uncheck "Lock size and position" and then check it again after I've moved the object. Der
