The print card from rect worked perfectly once I figured out all the
parameters. Really quite easy. Once I knew what to look for, the
documentation explaining it was quite good.

Check out the print into pagerect command. It can print images at higher
than screen resolution to your printer.

Also look at print card from rect, which allow you to send only a
portion of the card to the printer.
