WordPress is much simpler to use than Drupal, and there are many who have used it as a CMS to build commercial websites. Of course it's not as all-encompassing nor as hard to learn as Drupal, but you can put up a website in minutes. Try Googling WordPress and CMS

Drupal has gotten easy to learn. There is also very good training available at Lullabot (http://www.lullabot.com/). Drupal is easy to install and maintain. Knowing PHP isn't required but is a major plus (for WordPress too). Lullabot is all about learning Drupal. WordPress can't compare to Drupal.
